Beach House’s record, Depression Cherry, came wrapped in a red velvet album sleeve. The record is literally soft to the touch, meant to be held rather than “liked” on the internet. To complement Beach House’s sensual album packaging, we designed a poster with a physical presence — a print that looks better as an object than a JPG.
The oversized silkscreen print comes to life with three red inks (matte, glossy, and metallic) on red paper, creating a shimmering, changing modern-psychedelic design that evolves as one walks past it or the light changes.
